Opening Up Can Be Hard to Do
Here at Open Talk Mom you may see some very personal posts by the authors, which is the whole point of Open Talk Mom. We will be talking about issues like being sexually molested as a child, dealing with diseases like Diabetes and MS, having children who use drugs and abuse alcohol, divorce, remarriage and everything in between. These topics are sensitive and can sometimes be hard to open up about, but our goal is to help others who have been or are going through these issues.
If you have a real life story about an issue you’re going through, click the site admin button in the Meta section and register to be a contributor here on Open Talk Mom. Remember this is a public site, so others will be reading your posts. But we at Open Talk Mom feel this is a good way to get some real life help from real life moms who have been there, done that. Also, this site is set up to announce new posts on Twitter as soon as they are published which will draw new readers to the site.
