Teens Need Help Too

Well Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well. And that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Years! I know mine was very blessed. I really enjoy watching my children opening there gifts. I just love the look they get on there  faces and how thereeyes light up. Even though my hubby wasn’t working and things are very tight around here, my children were blessed with some gifts from school, and from there Grandparents. I really believe my children learned the true meaning of Christmas over these last few years as we have really struggled with everything. The older ones have always understood. The younger ones have even been pretty good about it too. Its mostly me, I feel sad in my heart, cause as a parent I want to provide for them. Not only the things they need, but a Christmas for them too. It would really break my heart if I couldn’t have something under the tree for them on Christmas morning. It breaks my heart just knowing there are children and families out there who go without every year on Christmas morning and on every other day too! It is very sad what this world has become. What really is important is not ! And everything is so commercialized. Try to find a program out there that helps teens . Or even kids over 12 years old. There aren’t to many, if any out there. I know I have a couple teen agers in my house too! Coats for kids only goes up to age 12 or 10 years old. Salvation Army only helps kids up to age 10 or 12 years also. Although I do know they are trying to get funds  and or help for older kids to up to age 14 I believe. But still!! Every year I go out and try to get help for my teens and there just is not anything. Teen age kids need coats and shoes and Christmas presents and things too. Yes they are more expensive and more picky, but I would bet they would take a coat or some shoes or a present too, specially if they had nothing! Know what I mean? I really want to look into starting some programs for the teens out there. I am just not to sure where to begin. Do you all have any suggestions? I am open to any and all of them. I really have a heart for this too. I just need some help on where to begin.  I really believe our teens are a big part of our future, and we need to invest allot of ourselves and our time in them. They really have it hard in this day and age too. There are some really good teens out there who could use some help to come out of there shell. Know what I mean?
