Blog Interview with Alyssa Avant

Recently I had the opportunity to interview Alyssa Avant, founder of Beauty By Design Ministries, a ministry for moms and girls. One of her guides, 7 Easy Tips Encouraging Your Daughter to Say No , was very interesting to me and I had a few questions for her and the guide. The questions and answers are below:

1. Are there scriptures to support your tips?  Yes ma’am.  I back up all the points with Scripture.
2. What ages is this appropriate for?  This book is written for moms to help encourage their daughters.  Honestly, it’s never too early to start.
3. Are there scripts available to help discuss this issue with my daughter?  No, though I think this would make a good addition to the guide.
4. Are the tips worded easily for all ages to understand?  The tips are written for moms.
5. Is this a good book for single Moms with daughters as well?  Yes, the tips are written for moms and doesn’t require that they have a spouse to be able to help and support their daughter.  It focuses on the mother – daughter relationship solely.
