Tell Me Thursday: One of My Favorite Things

Yesterday’s Wordless Wednesday I posted the above photo as “One of My Favorite Things”, so I’ll go on to explain.

I absolutely love pumpkins. I mean LOVE them. I don’t know why really, but I get super excited when fall is here and I know we’ll soon be able to have pumpkins around the house. I don’t personally like to carve them into jack-o-lanterns, but I do enjoy watching my kids as they carve out some crazy designs into their pumpkins.

The photo above is a pumpkin I “saved” from being carved into. I claimed it as mine! Isn’t it perfect? I love the way it looks and feels. I just says “autumn” to me I guess. Perhaps it represents the beginning of the Holidays to me. Or perhaps there’s some repressed memory from my childhood that makes me love pumpkins so much. I have no idea. I just know when I see pumpkins, I just want to run my hand over them and pick them up and carry them.

Weird I know, but pumpkins are definitely one of my favorite things. Is it a pumpkin fetish I have???

Do you have a weird favorite thing? If so what is it and do you know why? Or are you like me, you just love it and have no clue? Tell me in the comments below.

Happy Pumpkin Season everyone!
