Boxers or Briefs Game

My daughter owns this game and we play it often! It is fun and funny and one of our favorites.

The object of the game is to be the first one to collect the most boxer and brief discs. I think the rules say 10, but we just play till we get tired of it, which is usually not for hours!

The game consists of a deck of cards with 7 phrases or categories each; numerous boxer discs and brief discs; a die with the same categories as on the cards.

Play begins by the first player rolling the die, which determines which category is going to be played. The other players, holding 7 cards in their hands from the deck, chooses the most true or funniest answer per the category for the person who rolled the die. They pass their cards to the die roller. The die then determines which answer from the cards received by all the players, which is most true for them and the funniest answer. The players with the chosen answers get to collect a boxer disc for the most true and a brief disc for the funniest.

Some of the answers are hilarious and there are blank cards you can make up your own answers for. It’s a great game to play, with people you know very well, or not at all.

Although my friend’s 10 year old son loves to play the game with us, some of the questions may not be appropriate for younger children. I think the game box recommends 18 and over, although I think teens over 13 will enjoy it and most of the content is appropriate for them. There are some sexual overtones in some of the questions and some of the questions they just might not understand.

I would recommend Boxers or Briefs for families with older teens and for adults of any age.
