About the Authors:

Mary Lutz and Christie Garcia are sisters and have shared many life experiences together and well as separately. Although the miles keep them apart physically, they are joined in their hearts. Here’s a little more about each of them:

Christie Garcia:

Christie is Mom to 7, yes 7, children ranging in ages 8 to 31. She also has 4 granddaughters ages 2 1/2 months to 7 years old.  Christie’s life has been filled with just about every life trial you can imagine. Her stories are those of overcoming sexual abuse, divorce and remarriage, and living with Diabetes and MS. Open Talk Mom was her vision; a place that other moms can come to for advice, help and a place to get stuff off their chest.

Mary Lutz is a WAHM, blogger and Virtual Assistant. Mary has been blogging since 2004 and just recently discovered her love of writing. Mary is also a mom of 4, ages 16 to 25 and Nana to two cute grandsons.  As the administrator for Open Talk Mom, Mary is able to help her sister, Christie, fulfill her goals and dreams of helping mom’s going through or who have gone through some of the same issues as she.  Mary will be writing about issues like being sexually molested as a child, divorce and remarriage, being a Christian, raising kids and teens, and kids with addictions.
