Share Your Life

Today's Scripture:
“We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too” (1 Thessalonians 2:8).

Today's Word with Joel and Victoria

Relationships are so important to God. First, our relationship with Him and then our relationships with other people. In this day and age, we have so many wonderful, modern conveniences. We communicate through our computers, PDA’s and cell phones. We email and text and check off our lists. And all that’s great, but we have to remember that relationship is so much more than texting and email. Relationships are about sharing your life with others.
It’s about allowing others to know who you are, to help you grow, and hold you accountable; and then doing the same for them. Don’t ever allow life to become so busy that you aren’t sharing and connecting, face to face, with the people who are closest to you. Life is a group experience. Make sure you make time for relationships. Share your life because that’s what has eternal value.

A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, I give You this day and invite You to direct my every step. I choose to make time for the people in my life to share, love, and grow so that together we may build Your kingdom. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

SEO is one of the most cost effective methods to generate traffic to your website, much cheaper than purchased links or pay per click advertising. The three major search engines are Google, Yahoo, and MSN, in order of importance. Google and Yahoo are the most popular used by a vast majority of internet searchers.

Debbie thanks for your input from experience. I'm sorry you had to experience it and I wanted to add something.

If you've had an abortion, please please don't think this post was meant to make you feel guilty. It was not. If you've had an abortion in the past and are having difficulty dealing with it or feelings Debbie mentioned above, please seek help, and please know that God forgives you...all you have to do is ask Him.

Mary - thanks for sharing your journey, and your family's journey.

I can tell you - from experience - that abortion is not all its cracked up to be. Oh sure, you're "relieved of the burden" of an unexpected pregnancy - and then you're saddled with guilt, despair, depression, low self esteem, and even thoughts of suicide. It leaves lingering emotional and physical scars and deep, festering wounds that only the love of God can heal. I do know what abortion is like - and I do know what a devastating loss it really is. Whatever anybody else says - abortion is NOT an answer to an unexpected pregnancy.
